Sinds 2013 ben ik KNO-arts en in 2021 werd ik gekwalificeerd als plastisch chirurg van het aangezicht, dat wil zeggen EBCFPRS Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon. Mijn opleiding genoot ik in Polen, Nederland, Zwitserland, Duitsland, Oostenrijk en de VS.
Ik heb me sinds 2013 vooral toegelegd op chirurgie van de uitwendige neus en de neusbijholten. De neuschirurgie betreft zowel functionele als esthetische operaties, daarbij doe ik zowel de primaire als revisie operaties. In Nederland heb ik veel wetenschappelijk onderzoek gedaan naar de uitwendige neus, in Polen heb ik veel klinisch onderzoek gedaan naar de neusbijholten.
Ik heb 40 wetenschappelijke publicaties op mijn naam staan in internationale wetenschappelijke tijdschriften.
Sinds 2018 draag ik mijn ervaring in neus- en neusbijholten chirurgie over aan collega’s in Polen als cursusleider en docent.

Endoscopic sinus surgery is most often performed on patients who suffer from chronic sinusitis (CRS). CRS symptoms include headache, nasal discharge, nasal congestion, and smell disorders. CRS therapy ought to be started with pharmacological treatment, and then – if the patient’s clinical condition does not improve – surgery ought to be considered.
The functional and aesthetic surgery of the external nose and nasal septum (rhinoplasty) is a surgical intervention that aims to improve nasal breathing and the appearance of the external nose, i.e. the improvement of both the form and function of the nose. This goal is achieved by correcting a deformed nasal septum as well as the external nose.
